The Flat Sword W/Tine works well with either the double or single edge approach. The "Blade edges are 1 1/4" of good foam,with 3/4" of High Impact foam at the tip, and work quite well. For more realism, click on"Shiny Mylar Blade

You can Reinforce the core for more RIGIDITY-less flex. Leave 4" to 6" hollow at the tip and get less impact with the more rigid stick. Please add $5.00 to REINFORCE your Sword.
